Abstract:Abstract: Objective To establish a comprehensive pharmaceutical care system for the treatment of HIV/AIDS patients with breast cancer, aiming to enhance the patients therapeutic outcomes. Methods Clinical pharmacists engaged actively in patients’ treatment by participating in ward rounds and reviewing medical orders. They determine the dose of antitumor drugs and adjusted anti-HIV treatment plans based on literature records, and carry out pharmaceutical care. Results Clinical pharmacists cooperate with physicians in pharmaceutical care. Patients receive effective anti-viral and anti-tumor treatment with minimal adverse reactions. The entire course is successfully completed, and the patients experience relief of symptoms. Conclusion The pharmaceutical care system for AIDS patients with tumors encompasses the formulation of a rational anti-tumor plan, an anti-virus strategy, adjustment of treatment plans in response to drug interactions, and prompt prevention of opportunistic infections. Clincial pharmacists, through pharmaceutical care, contribute to improve the outcomes of the patient treatment.
